homemade macaroni and cheese

Ingredients homemade macaroni and cheese


16 oz Elbow noodles
6 cup Shredded cheese (i used sharp)
3 1/2 cup Milk
1/4 cup All-purpose floor
1/4 cup Butter
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
3/4 tsp Ground mustard
4 dash Hot pepper sauce (i used Red Rooster Louisiana hot sauce)

how to make homemade macaroni and cheese


Cook macaroni in boiling water until almost tender; drain.


Pre heat over at 350°


Melt butter. Stir in the flour, salt, mustard, pepper, pepper sauce and milk until smooth. 


Stir in the macaroni and 4 1/2 cups cheese.


Transfer to an ungreased 13-in x 9-in baking dish. Cover and bake for 45-50 minutes or until bubbly.


Uncover; sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
