pork rib rub

Ingredients pork rib rub


1/3 cup Paprika
3 tbsp Dry Mustard
3 tbsp Onion Powder
3 tbsp Garlic Powder
2 tbsp Basil Leaves
1 tbsp Ground Black Pepper
1 tbsp Salt
2 tsp Cayenne Pepper (more or less depending on heat level desired)
2 tbsp Brown Sugar

how to make pork rib rub


Combine all ingredients.


Remove silver skin from the ribs.


Coat ribs heavily and massage into the meat (should be enough for 3 slabs or about 1 1/4 cups).


Let ribs rest for atleast 2 hours or overnight.


Cook/smoke ribs as desired.


Extra rub can be stored in an airtight container.
