pork apritada

Ingredients pork apritada


1/2 kg pork cut into small cube
1 garlic macerated
2 tbsps. oil
1/2 cup onions sliced
1 cup tomatoes sliced fine
8 cup rice water
2 medium sized potatoes in cubes
2 medium sized carrots sliced in cubes
1 tbsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup tomatoe sauce

how to make pork apritada


Saute garlic in oil until brown. Add onions and tomatoes, cook unti soft.


Mix tomatoe sauce, let it boil for 5 minutes. Add pork and rice water; let simmer until tender.


When tender, add sliced potatoe and sliced carrots and cook until done. Mix salt and pepper.


Season and cook for 5-8 minutes. Serve hot!
