Ingredients maple bacon cupcakes


Frosting
1 cup Whipped Cream Cheese
1 cup Mascarpone Cheese
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3/4 cup Maple Syrup
5 tbsp Powder Sugar
Cake
2 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup Softened Butter
1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
2 large Eggs
1 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Buttermilk

how to make maple bacon cupcakes


Preheat oven to 350°F


Cut bacon in small pieces and cook until crispy


Sift together dry ingredients


Cream together sugar and eggs until fluffy


Mix together wet ingredients and add dry ingredients in thirds


Stir in bacon


Line cupcake tray with cupcake paper cups and fill 3/4 of the way


Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean


Remove cupcakes from tray to cool


Beat together all frosting ingredients until fluffy


Refrigerate frosting for 20-30 minutes


Once frosting is set, frost cupcakes
