Ingredients low calorie taco turkey hot pockets
1 lb ground turkey
6 tbsp shredded reduced fat chedder
3/4 cup Any variety salsa
1 packages 11 oz thin crust pizza
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped red pepper
2 clove garlic minced
1 egg whites
1 tbsp Chilli powder
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 season to taste
how to make low calorie taco turkey hot pockets
Preheat oven to 425°F
Brown turkey with onion, red peppers, garlic and spices
Remove from heat and stir in salsa
Cut crust into 4 equal parts
Add meat mixture to half of each pizza crust
Add 2 tablespoons of cheese to each pizza crust
Fold each crust over and secure tightly
Brush tops with egg whites and season according to Ur taste. I like a bit of parmasean and oregano
Spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and place on sheet
Bake for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy
