cookie icing

Ingredients cookie icing


2 cup powdered sugar
2 to 6 tablespoons water or milk (depending on how thick you want it)
1/4 tsp almond or vanilla extract (I use extra)
1 pinch salt
1 food coloring (optional)

how to make cookie icing


Sift the powdered sugar and salt into a bowl.


Add enough water/milk and the extract until the icing is your desired consistency.


Divide into portions and add food colored as desired.


*You can double or triple the recipe depending on how much icing you prefer.*


**This can cover about 48 cookies at the most, depending on your cookie cutters.**
