2 celery stalks
1 cup onion
10 slice bread
2 cup chicken broth
2 eggs
1 tsp sage
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp parsley
1 stick butter
how to make classic celery onion stuffingdressing
Preheat oven 325°F. Cut bread into 1/2 inch cubes arrange on a cookie sheet put in oven to dry out. Will take ab 20 mins just eyeball it. they should be nice and crunchy
In a skillet melt 1 stick of butter and saute chopped celery and onion until onions clear in color.
Once bread cubes are done put in a large bowl and mix in onion and celery. Also eggs and the seasonings.
Add the chicken broth in 1/2 cup intervals. you want the bread cubes to soak up the broth but not be soggy
Place mixture in small buttered casserole dish. Bake covered in oven on 350 for 1 hour take off cover last 15 mins. Enjoy!
