chicken biscuit dumplings

Ingredients chicken biscuit dumplings


2 chicken breasts (cooked & shredded)
4 cup chicken broth
1 cup water
1 can cream of chicken (10 3/4 oz)
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 can biscuits (7.5 oz each)

how to make chicken biscuit dumplings


Flatten biscuits out on a lightly floured surface (just a press with your palm will do)


Cut dough into bite size pieces


In large pot over medium heat, boil broth, water, soup, salt and pepper for 5 mintues; stir occasionally


Add chicken and biscuits and stir


Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent biscuits from sticking together


*Once you add the biscuits, it will appear that there is not enough liquid...but there is! The biscuits will shrink and get dense...leaving you with a creamy soup!
