blackened catfish

Ingredients blackened catfish


6 large fish fillets
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
3 tsp paprika
4 tsp Onion powder
4 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp celery salt
1 tsp black pepper
4 tsp Lemon pepper

how to make blackened catfish


Combine all of the dry ingredients into a small bowl and set aside


Preheat frying pan to a medium high heat.


Place the 2 tablespoons of oil into hot frying pan


Dredge the fish in the spice mixture and place in frying pan. Cook for approximately 2 minutes per side
